Papa's Party: Chap. 1

The pasteria was busy during the Christmas season, especially with gathering families coming together for a nice hot meal. Gracie and Lamia were working at their hardest, handing out he plates of food out of the kitchen. The young pasta chef, Gracie, can see a multitude of smiling faces from her side of the kitchen and counter. She can hear the Romano Family Quartet chatting among themselves, knowing that it will be some time before the big wedding between little old Edoardo and Olga. Tony, Matt and Mandi were dining together, the Solary twins Jordan and Sydney laughing at Matt's humorous jokes. Hank and Apollo were also enjoying the holiday as good friends. However, all she wanted was to see her father for the holiday season, hoping to get good praise for her cooking like he always does before handing over a blue ribbon at the end of the day.

The evening was coming to a close, but no one was willing to leave because they wanted to be together for the holidays. And, of course, closer Radlynn was walking through the door. "Radlynn, hi! Happy holidays to you, my friend!" Gracie shouted from behind the cooking station, waving her hand in the air. Lamia then focused her attention to the closer.

"What are you going to do for Christmas, may I ask?" Lamia smiled as she takes out her notepad. All Radlynn did was just shrug her shoulders. What the radish-hat wearing girl ordered was gnocchi with red romana sauce, mozzarella cheese, onions and prosciutto. After two minutes of waiting, Lamia calls for Radlynn to fetch her food. "It's on the house. Besides, you need to get on your way back home."

"Naw, not this time. My parents are out of the house for today, so I can stay out as long as I want. Hooray me!" Radlynn fist-bumped the air, dropping a coin in the tip jar before sitting behind the booth close to Matt and Tony. "Hey, guys. How are the games coming along?"

Matt pressed his glasses up against his nose as he looks towards the girl. "They are coming along just fine. We're almost done with one, so look forward to it, Radlynn. Why not join us, anyway?" He moves closer to the wall, hoping that Radlynn to take the seat. Tony and Mandi nodded as they allowed the girl to sit down with her creators. "Besides, it's Christmas. We need to take some time off for ourselves to be together. The co-owners of Flipline Studios laughed together, knowing that Radlynn was really excited. "This is just normal for everyone to be like this." For one moment, everything seemed so perfect, that was...

...until the tip jar started to glow. Gracie looked down into the tip jar to see that the coin Radlynn dropped in was actually a warp key. She remembered those from Radley Madish's mad havoc on the S.S Louie during the summer, not to even forget what happened to Rita and Martey during their "Free Burger Day" offer. She takes the key and hurls it out the door, the portal opening close to the only door in and out of the restaurant. She, Lamia, everyone was holding on for dear life, not wanting to go through the portal. And for Radlynn, she just stood there.

Matt and Tony heard someone come through the portal, and that one face was too familar: Radley Madish himself. He was laughing, watching the game developers hold onto the tables, not wanting to be sucked into Munchmore. "Hi, boys! Looks like the two of you are caught in the cross-fire! I'm sure Mandi won't mind at all if we three have a little chat about some little...changes!" And with that said, Radley tosses an odd-looking bomb into the middle of the restaurant. Once it finally exploded, everyone was suffocating in the smell and smoke of garlic.

By the time the smoke cleared up, Gracie, Lamia and Mandi stared at what was left of the pasteria. Apollo stood up to see the end result, also noticing Doan and Georgito looking around. "Tony!? Tony, where are you!?" Mandi went outside, shouting for her husband. It was no use to call out for them, anyway.
